Privacy statement

Skiffa handles your data with care. Below you can read which data we process, why, and what your rights are.

Which data and why

• Ordering: name, e-mail address, delivery address, your order and payment status. Needed to fulfil your order, to e-mail you about the delivery and for our accounts (performance of the contract and legal obligation).
• Contact form: name, e-mail address or phone number and your message, to answer your question (legitimate interest).
• Basket: whatever you put in your basket is stored only in your own browser (localStorage), not by us.

We do not use tracking or advertising cookies and we do not sell your data to anyone.

Who we share data with

• Mollie (payments), Resend (sending e-mails), Supabase (storage of orders, servers in the EU) and Vercel (website hosting).
• PostNL or another carrier: your name and address, to deliver the poster.
• The weather and tide information on the site comes from Open-Meteo; no personal data is shared in the process.

Agreements have been made with these parties about the security of your data.

How long we keep data

We keep order and invoice data for 7 years, because the Dutch Tax Administration (Belastingdienst) requires this. We keep messages sent via the contact form no longer than necessary to deal with your question, and for 1 year at most.

Your rights

You may access your data, have it corrected or have it deleted (insofar as we are not legally required to keep it), and object to its use. E-mail hallo@skiffa.store; we will respond within one month. If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
